Rumours have been swirling for years that Sex and the City author, Candace Bushnell, would be creating a TV series - based on her book The Carrie Diaries - that follows her famous characters, Carrie Bradshaw, Samantha Jones, Charlotte York and Miranda Hobbs, as young teens.  After a long time in the works, the CW has just announced that it’s officially picked up the show.
