FEATURE: MARY ELIZABETH WINSTEAD DISHES ON THE TOP SECRET “10 CLOVERFIELD LANE” MOVIE AND WHY IT’S SO DIFFERENT
Mary Elizabeth Winstead dishes on what you can expect from the new J.J Abrams project 10 Cloverfield Lane and what it was like to film such a top secret movie.
J.J Abrams latest project, 10 Cloverfield Lane, has been under wraps for a while but now fans of the mysteriously thrilling (somewhat) follow-up to Cloverfield will finally find out what’s really going on in the world above.
After surviving a car accident, Michelle (Winstead) wakes up to find herself in an underground bunker with two men named Howard (John Goodman) and Emmett. Howard tells her that a massive chemical attack has rendered the air unbreathable and their only hope of survival is to remain inside. Despite the comforts of home, Howard’s menacing demeanor causes the young woman to plan her escape. After taking matters into her own hands, Michelle’s desire to learn the truth about the outside world comes to fruition.
Mary Elizabeth Winstead talks about filming the movie and why it’s different from most “monster” type films.
10 Cloverfield Lane opens in theatres on March 11.
