Ben Branson, founder of the world’s first distilled non-alcoholic spirit, has solved the dilemma of “What to drink when you’re not drinking” with Seedlip Distilled Non-Alcoholic Spirits.
It’s not fun when you’re out with friends, especially during the holidays and you’re not drinking. For whatever reason, those who opt out of having alcoholic beverages are always stuck with boring drinks like plain soda or juice. But Seedlip is changing the game when it comes to enjoying a sophisticated cocktail that’s alcohol free.
In fact, it’s the world’s first distilled non-alcoholic spirit. It’s founder, Ben Branson, began making it from his kitchen in the English woods with a small copper still and a copy of “The Art of Distillation” (Printed in 1651. Yes, that old!), which documents apothecaries’ distilled non-alcoholic herbal remedies.
Branson says, “My family’s 300-year farming heritage coupled with a career working on drink brands laid the foundations to spend two years working with distillers, growers and historians to created adult, complex drinks when, for whatever reason, you’re not drinking alcohol.”
Seedlip has created two award-winning, non-alcoholic spirits, Spice 94 and Garden 108—both free from sugar, calories and artificial flavours. They are best served over ice with quality tonic water. Both are equally refreshing and delicious.
Spice 94 is an aromatic, earthy oak and woodsy flavour with hints of allspice berries, Cardomom and citrus.
Garden 108 is reminiscent of the English countryside with top notes of handpicked peas, hay, and spearmint, rosemary and thyme.
If you love gin-based cocktails, or drinks that are herby and have a touch of bitters then you’ll love these spirits.
