Major self-tanning innovation alert! St. Tropez Self Tan Express Bronzed Sheet Masks gives you a glowing, bronzed look with added skin benefits.
This month, St. Tropez introduces the first self-tanning sheet mask on the market— the St. Tropez Self Tan Express Bronzing Face Sheet Mask.
It’s no secret that many shy away from using self-tanners for fear of getting streaking skin. With so many self-tanners on the market, the key is to use a brand that is known for its quality ingredients in their formulations. There’s no other brand that can boast this more than St. Tropez.
Not only do they have a number of different self-tanning products for different needs, even colour customization, they seem to have solved the problem of the face tanner, which never seems to last long with most product.
With the explosion of Korean sheet masks hitting the beauty market it’s no wonder St. Tropez, a top innovator in the market, would devise a perfect self-tanning sheet mask that not only gives an even application, but also has anti-aging benefits, too.
“You’ll get a brilliant, even tan that will actually make your skin glow.” —Sophie Evans, St. Tropez Brand Ambassador
The new St. Tropez Self Tan Express Bronzing Face Sheet Mask is designed to work with the face’s natural contours, and the fibres ensure that it has a no slip grip, resulting in an even application. It’s infused with a serum that blends DHA (the ingredient that activates the self tanner) with two moisturizing heavy hitters: glycerin and hyaluronic acid.
The self-tanning sheet masks’ combination of DHA with the added hydration, not only provides a beautiful, even bronze colour it also leaves your skin with a dewy glow. The beauty of the mask is that it’s customizable. The colour develops over time (From 5, 10 to 15 minutes, tops) depending how bronzed you want to look.
According to St. Tropez’s brand ambassador and self tanning expert, Sophie Evans, in order to get the best results with your self-tanning sheet mask, which she says will last up to five days, is to make sure to avoid the mask being in contact with your hairline. “It can actually colour your hair, especially if it’s bleached,” she says while in Toronto. “Putting a moisturizer around the hair line will help the formula from seeping towards the hair. It’s best to place the mask away from the hairline or simple fold it over.”
“Once you take the mask off, you can gently rub in the product into your skin,” Evans says. “The formula is clear so it won’t transfer on clothing or your pillow.” She recommends put it on in the evening. “You’ll get a brilliant, even tan that will actually make your skin glow.”
Here are other tips from Evans on how to use the new self-tanning sheet mask:
- Apply a water-based moisturizer ½” around hairline
- Apply Sheet mask to face
- Wash hands immediately after placing mask on skin
- Leave mask on for 5 (light) to 10 (medium) to 15 (dark) minutes (maximum) for desired results
Evans also recommends that if you have dry patches or brown spots, apply moisturizer on these areas before your mask to help prevent colour penetration in these areas.
Happy Glowing!
