Kendall and Kylie are setting up their fashion empires with a new fashion line, which they celebrated this week in New York ahead of fashion week.
“We designed it according to what we love, and how our style is,” Kendall told PEOPLE. “It’s someone who is really similar to us; a young girl wanting to have fun. That’s mainly what we designed.”
“We absolutely tried on everything, you can’t wait to see how the finished product turns out,” added Kylie. “It’s an exciting process, and when everything is done you’re like ‘Wait, get me everything. I can’t wait to try it.’”
Kendall and Kylie’s huge online following has definitely had an impact in their business ventures and this line has reached luxury retailer status, including Neiman Marcus and Saks Fifth Avenue, who will all be carrying the line, with average prices ranging from $175 to $200 to $500.
The young sisters have already surpassed Kourtney, Kim and Khloe in the fashion department. The elder Kardashian sisters fashion line, Kardashion Kollection, sold in Sears, died quietly in early 2015.
According to a New York Post fashion insider source, “They have more credibility when it comes to fashion than their older sisters who didn’t work the runways and had not captured people’s imagination as style icons.”
Kendall + Kylie will launch in Bloomingdale’s, Lord & Taylor, Saks and Nordstrom, as well as ShopBop and Revolve.
