Adding this one step to your morning routine can make a huge difference in your health. It’s called Dry Brushing and many are touting it as one of the best detoxifying methods you can do to promote healthy skin and organs.

 

Dry Brushing is a traditional technique to help remove dead skin cells and stimulates the lymphatic system, which helps eliminate waste. Experts claim that it can even dissolve cellulite and prevent premature ageing while obtaining brighter, smoother, softer looking skin.

How to dry brush:

First, You will need a soft, natural-fibre body brush. Always ensure that your brush is dry and used only on dry skin.

Dry skin brushing should be done daily for best results, or up to twice a day.

For best results, health experts suggest following your brush session with a form of hydra therapy, for example your morning shower or bath.

When brushing, always brush toward your heart, which is best for circulation and your lymphatic system. You can brush your entire body (including the soles of your feet). Start at your feet and work your way up your legs to your arms, chest, back, and stomach.

The pressure you apply while brushing your skin should be firm but not painful. Your skin should be pink after a session (not red or irritated). An average dry brushing session may last between two and 20 minutes.
