TINA FEY AND AMY POEHLER REUNITE FOR NEW COMEDY “THE NEST”
Can’t hardly wait! Our two favourite comedians, Tina Fey and Amy Poehler are set play sisters in a new movie comedy.
The pair, who haven’t done a movie together since 2008’s Baby Mama, will play sisters who discover their parents are putting their family home up for sale, and who have one last ‘wild weekend’ at the home. Of course, we can only expect dirty mayhem to ensue while the sisters whoop it up.
The Nest will be written by Paula Pell, a staff writer on Saturday Night Live, with whom Fey and Poehler have worked with. Pell has also written episodes of Fey’s TV comedy 30 Rock. Jason Moore, who helmed Pitch Perfect, is set to direct the comedy.
Fey and Poehler have proven to be a dynamic duo since their days co-hosting Saturday Night Live‘s “Weekend Update” and appearing together in Fey’s Mean Girls in 2004 and then again in Baby Mama in 2008.
More recently, the real life pals have become famous for co-hosted the Golden Globes for the past two years. They are set to host again this year.
