SAG AWARDS 2013 WINNERS LIST AND PHOTOS
The stars once again shined on the red carpet at the 2013 SAG Awards on Sunday, but will the winners predict Oscar wins?
The Glamour of Awards season continued last night with the Screen Actors’ Guild Awards, where actors shared their love for other actors at The Shrine Auditorium in L.A.
Argo, despite Ben Affleck’s shocking Oscar nod dismissal for Best Director, is winning large this season as well as Jennifer Lawrence, who is scooping up all of the Best Actress awards for Silver Linings Playbook (sadley her co-star Bradley Cooper, who gave a stunning performance, is losing out to Daniel Day-Lewis this season).
The SAG awards are extra special to Hollywood actors because they are awarded by their peers. Another great thing about the SAGS is that they honour cast ensembles. Without a team, a sole actor could not shine. So it’s great to see a whole team win at once.
There were no real surprises last night, but one of the highlights was Alec Baldwin presenting the lifetime achievement award to Dick Van Dyke, who was witty, on the ball and deserving of the honour.
