Happy Birthday Bond! As we gear up for the Skyfall movie, starring Daniel Craig, 007 is celebrating its 50th year. Check out this cool video, giving a nod to the longest running franchise in history.
The James Bond franchise is celebrating it’s 50th anniversary this year, and what better way to celebrate than to release another Bond movie. Skyfall, starring blonde Bond Daniel Craig, is the 23rd Bond movie in the franchise, and according to Craig, it will knock your socks off.
In Skyafall, Bond’s loyalty to M (Judi Dench) is tested as her past returns to haunt her. When Bond’s latest assignment goes gravely wrong and several undercover agents around the world are exposed, MI6 is attacked, forcing M to relocate the agency. These events cause her authority and position to be challenged by Mallory (Ralph Fiennes), the new Chairman of the Intelligence and Security Committee. With MI6 now compromised from both inside and out, M is left with one ally she can trust: Bond. 007 takes to the shadows – aided only by field agent, Eve (Naomie Harris) – following a trail to the mysterious Silva (Javier Bardem), whose lethal and hidden motives have yet to reveal themselves. Watch a clip of Daniel Craig, Sam Mendes (director), and Judi Dench, along with the producers, talk about 50 years of Bond and what it means to them to be a part of the franchise.
Skyfall opens November 9 and stars Daniel Craig, Javier Barden, Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris, Bérénice Marlohe, Ben Whishaw, Helen McCrory, Rory Kinear, with Albert Finney, Judi Dench as “M.”
